The programs existed. Black women weren't reached by them. That was the problem to solve.

Managed a $3M grant portfolio funding breast health services across metro Atlanta hospitals and clinics. Set a new strategic focus to reduce breast cancer mortality among Black women in Atlanta by 25% in five years — rebuilding the requests for applications, grantee selection process, and financial oversight infrastructure to execute against it. Recovered nearly $200,000 from low-performing grantees and redirected it to higher-impact programs. Built community relationships with Black, Hispanic, LGBTQ, and immigrant populations across the region. Led state advocacy on drug parity and Medicaid expansion through legislative testimony, media alerts, and meetings with Congressional leaders.
